27 Aug 10 | Nine full-bore rifle shooters contested the 2010 NRA Medal shoot at the Narromine-Dubbo rifle range on Saturday afternoon. Earlier in the day most shooters were involved with reconstructing the target pits and once completed shooting commenced against a slight breeze.
27 Aug 10 | The Phantoms played a fantastic first quarter last weekend against the St Pirate Ninjas. The girls, playing like the great team they are, gave an A grade performance throughout the quarter. Their defence was strong and their attacking skills kept the ball in their third for most of the quarter.
27 Aug 10 | Last Saturday 30 golfers competed in the August Monthly Medal sponsored by Geoff Swane. Winner in A grade was R Powell 68 net, runner-up R Smith 69 net. B grade winner was W Burke 65 net on a countback, runner-up B Crawford 65 net. Ball winners T Wiggins, P Treseder 66 net, J Cook 67 net, A Hocroft 68 net and D Mann 70 net. Nearest the pin 9th G Swane and 10th D Mann.

Fortunately the moisture stayed in the clouds until all were seated in the club house with their hands around the thirst- quenching amber juice. Our most improving player Jamie Roberts won the day with 23 points with Doug Blazee 22 points being runner-up. Nearest the pin was not won on the 17th.
