Team twirls way to top

12 Nov, 2008 11:39 AM
Local Trangie girl Kaila Henrahan showed our southern neighbours a thing or two about baton twirling when her team came first at the Australian Baton Twirling Championships in Melbourne.

Picking up first prize in their section Kaila and the Dubbo PCYC girls have returned from Melbourne with a swag of trophies and medals.

They hope their win inspires others to join up and become baton twirling champions.

For information about joining, call Cathy Johnston on 0403 138 247.
