Another enjoyable weekend was had at the Narromine Golf Club. Even though the weather was hot 25 players turned up to play on Saturday in a 4BBB event. Winners of the day with a very good score of 50 points were J McKinnon and M McKean and runners-up were S Richardson and M Ward - 48 points. Ball winners were S Magill and J Coen, T Barlow and J Barlow, B Crawford and M Richardson. Nearest the pin on the 9th S Magill and 10th J Barlow.

On Sunday another good roll -up of 23 players contested a single stableford event. Some very close scores were handed in with P Treseder winning the day with 40 points by countback from M Gainsford runner-up also with 40 points. Ball winners B Burke also with 40 points, N Haley, C Harding, D Alcorn and R Powell all had 39 points. Nearest the pin - B Burke on the 9th and J McKinnon on the 10th.

Tuesday night golf

In atrocious, windy conditions 125 players turned out for Business House golf. Winners on the night were Mahindras with a fantastic score of 91 points. This result tightens up the head of the table. Chook winners S Barlow- 27 points, T Willis- 26 points, M Ward - 24 points, S Thompson and D Treseder - 23 points, C Haylan and Graham Walsh- 22 points, H Bootle, E Ashdown, J Barlow and T Barlow with 21 points. Nearest the pins 3rd N Fitzgerald, 9th P White, 10th I Collins, 17th P Perry.

Next Saturday there is a 4B Aggregate and Sunday a two-person ambrose. A date for your diaries is February 20 and 21. There will be a working bee to repair the greens and some other work on the course.
