Last Wednesday was a beautiful warm and sunny day which saw 74 players gather to compete in the Lady Golfers Open Tournament in Narromine.

Albert, Cobar, Dubbo, Dunedoo, Gilgandra, Mendooran, Nyngan and Tottenham ladies represented their towns.
Division 1 scratch winner was Trish Vincent 78 (Tottenham). Scratch runner-up was C Greaves 78 (Dunedoo).
18-hole handicap winner was Linda McCutcheon 59 nett (Trangie).
Runner-up handicap was L McKinnon 64 nett (Trangie).
18-hole stableford winner was Betty Browning 42 points (Narromine).
18-hole stableford runner-up was Sue McCutcheon 42 points (Narromine).
9-hole scratch winner was F Hardwick 37 (Cobar).
9-hole scratch runner-up was S Bannister 38 (Cobar).

Division 2 18-hole scratch winner was Margaret Jenkinson 88 (Cobar).
What a clean-up Cobar had. Twelve ladies travelled on a small bus and had to jam all those trophies in along with bags, sticks and buggies. Pat Mitchell will be so proud of them.

On Saturday (show day) seven Sugar Babies showed up for golf and abandoned the course because of a light sprinkle of rain.
Today is the sixth round of the monthly medal. Saturday is the sixth round of the WGNSW Medal with the Michelle Ashdown Trophy, also Northcott Soc Spoon.
