Guess who won the McLachlan Medal play off? A very thrilled Vivean Halbisch 74 nett plus fourth optional ball.
Viv also celebrated her birthday the following day. A wonderful birthday gift.
Gail White was the lucky runner up 75 nett. Gail also won the drawn card.
A good field of 22 players attended Joyce McCutcheon’s Trophy.
A very popular Trophy winner and A grade Judy Barlow 69 nett with a very creditable 81 scratch. Judy has a very short handicap.
B-grade winner Nancy Elrington (71 nett) had a good win on wet, heavy course. Optional ball winners were Sandy Mack (70 nett), Wendy Jeffery (72 nett), (after lots of good practice at Albert) also nearest pin 17th and Jan Brennan (74 nett). Jenny Fitzgerald won nearest pin 9th.
The raffle was kindly donated by Leonie Crawford, won by Dale Harding. Terese Haley also celebrated her birthday on Wednesday.
Jean Walters Memorial Club Trophy Par event on Saturday September featured a beautiful spring afternoon with a small field of 14 players.
B-grade and trophy winner was Jean’s daughter Toni Martin all square. Toni also won nearest pin 17th and our welcome guest.
A-grade winner was Tracy McIntyre (-1). Winning on a count back from Judy Barlow (-1), who won first optional ball. second optional ball Valerie Edmonds (-2), third optional ball Susie Richardson (-2).
Gail White won nearest pin 17th. Nancy Elrington won drawn card.
Raffle was kindly donated by Sandy Mack and won by Susie Richardson (who had an all-round good day.)
