On Sunday June 10, family and friends gathered to wish Les McKinnon a very happy 90th birthday. It’s a milestone in life not attained by all.
It was a very happy occasion held at the Trangie United Servicemen’s Club where all participated in a Chinese meal together topped off by Les blowing out the candles on a huge cake made out of 90 profiteroles.
Many thanks to Don and Lea McKinnon who organised the night out.
Janice Montgomery, Les’s niece, also celebrated her birthday with Les, as it fell on the same day.
We wished Les “all the best” for the years ahead.
