On Wednesday June 27 the final round of two to decide the winner of the Bootle Browning event was held.
Congratulations to Loyalty Roberts and Betty Browning who were the winners with 85 points.
Runners-up were Viv Halbisch and Nikki McCutcheon 83 on a countback from Terese Haley and Jeanette O’Brien.
The actual day’s event was won by Viv and Nikki with 44 points and runners-up were Loyalty Roberts and Betty Browning 44 on a countback from Terese Haley and Jeanette O’Brien.
Op balls went to Loyalty and Betty 44, Terese and Jeanette 44, and Barb Tuck and Jan Brennan 43.
Winner of the nine-hole competition was Marie Houghton.
Val Edmunds and Robyn Jones won the drawn card and nearest the pins were claimed by Robyn Jones and Viv Halbisch.

On Saturday the WDLGA stableford event was contested in three grades.
Winners on the day were: A grade Judy Barlow 39 points, B grade Wendy Jeffery 37 points and C grade Joy Whiteman 35 points.
Op balls went to Marj Kelly 38, Michelle Ashdown 36 and Elaine Ashdown 35. Nearest the pin on the 10th was Judy Barlow and on the 17th Tracey McIntyre.
Betty Browning had the drawn card and was also the winner of the raffle kindly donated by Michelle Ashdown.
