The Tranige Golf Club has been busy preparing the course to play the Men’s Open this Sunday.
The club wish to extend an invitation to all players (with an Australia Handicap) to come and play with the course in great shape, great food on offer and with over $10,000 in trophies and prizes a great day should be had by all.
The club wishes to thank all those people in advance for the work that has been done for the event.
Last Saturday we played two events. Firstly was a mixed 4 BBB Aggregate (G and F Sand trophy). The winners where R Honberg and L McCutcheon with 76. Runners-up were G Sand and F Sand, 75. Nearest to the pin for the men’s was R Pither and for the ladies was L Brennan.
The second event, an individual Stableford, was won on a count back by H Irving 39, and runner-up was T McWhirter 39.
The birdies nest was again won by R Pither.
