Sandy also kindly donated two nearest the pin trophies. A large number of players supported Les Sharp's Memorial Golf Day, all held April 12 (a very popular day for birthdays).

Gail also won nearest pin ninth (her birthday golf lesson proved to be very beneficial!)

Raffle was donated by Sandy Mack and justly won by Elaine Ashdown who celebrated her birthday that day.

Pam Hamilton celebrated a big birthday ending in zero on Tuesday April 15.

Wednesday April 16 saw 24 players (two of which played nine holes) on a very heavy, unmown course (Gail thought that this was character building!)

Sixteen played second round of Perry Bowl and everyone played for Nancy Elrington's Trophy.

Perry Bowl and Nancy Elrington's Trophy winner: Jean Richardson 144nett (two consecutive Wednesdays for Perry Bowl) 71 nett for Nancy's Trophy.

Vicki Gainsford was the A grade winner with 75nett and was also a very worthy runner-up in Perry Bowl 148nett.

B grade ball winner: Bev Woods 79nett.(nearly falling off her chair with disbelief!)

Optional ball winners: first Nikki McCutcheon 74 nett (a tremendous effort for a relatively new player and grandmother)
