A big crowd is expected to flock to Tomingley this long weekend to celebrate the races.
There will be fashions on the field, bar and canteen facilities, TAB, on-course bookmakers and six races.
The committee announced yesterday that 60 horses had been nominated for the races.
Entry is $15 and gates open at 11am. The first race is at 1.30pm and a courtesy bus will be running from the hotel at half-hour intervals.
Tomingley Picnic Races are a great family affair with activities for the children as well.
There will be a jumping castle, face painting, a sandpit, snow cones and a coffee van.
A band will entertain the crowd after 6pm thanks to Crossroads, Tomingley.
The Raceday Raffle will also be drawn on Saturday.
First prize is a $1500 voucher for Harvey Norman, second prize is a 24 inch television and $100 fuel voucher and there are more prizes to be won.
Tickets are available from Cossroads and BP in Tomingley for $2 each.
Head on down to the Tomingley racetrack on Saturday for a great time with family and friends.

The committee has invited everyone to come down and enjoy a drink and to buy a horse in the great lead-up event. The committee has worked hard with working bees to get the grounds ready for the great day.
