Crowds flocked to the Cenotaph at dawn and after the March at 11am to commemorate the ultimate sacrifice made by the Anzacs for 99 years.
Many participated in the march from the Narromine USMC to the Cenotaph with representatives from each of the schools and community groups.
Members of the RSL Sub-Branch marched and drove in golf buggies down the main street for the annual service.
Current member of the armed services Warrant Officer Nadia McCulloch returned to town to speak at the ceremony along with State Member for Dubbo, Troy Grant and Narromine RSL Sub-Branch president, Neil Richardson.
WO1 McCulloch enlisted in the Australian Army from Narromine in 1996 and has since served in Timor Leste, Iraq and Afghanistan.
"We meet here today, not to glorify war or or celebrate victors but to remember those who served during times of conflict and to reflect on their selfless sacrifice," she said on Friday.
WO1 McCulloch believes the Anzacs drew Australia together as a nation.
"We remember all men and women regardless of when they served," she said.
"We should be proud of our heritage."
Mr Grant was honoured to be included in the Narromine services.
"Thanks for having me to join you on this special day," he said.
"This day is special and dear in our hearts."
Mr Grant said Anzac Day should remind Australians of their contribution.
"When that first bullet flew through the air they didn't run they faced it, for us," he said.
"There's a lesson every 25th of April that we can all contribute and look to serve each other and hnour that sacrifice to service others."
Sub-Branch president Neil Richardson said not to take our freedom for granted.
"We think of every man, woman and child who died in these crucial years," he said.
"Remember those who served and still live."
