Last Saturday we had 22 golfers tee off in a two-person ambrose sponsored by Tom (Birthday Boy) and Rick Powell.
The winners were Steve Buckley and Codey Anning with 62 1/4 from Josh Coen and Steve Gillette ( suffering very sore shoulders) with 64 1/4 on a count back from Scott Magill and Toby Rush.
Ball winners were Peter Perry and Peter Kierath.
NTPs 9th Jack Burgess and 10th Mal Fraser.
On Sunday we had the Wally Lovett Memorial Day 4BBB with 36 starters.
The winners were Steve Buckley (again) and Richard Duff with an excellent score of 51 points from Lewis Lydon and Brian Masling with 50 points.
Lewis suffered a major handicap reduction following this good round.
Good scores were also posted by Luke and Ben Astill 48 points,Phil Thompson and Robert Gainsford 45 points and Phil Harding and Rob Stanford also 45 points.

A couple of program changes.
Saturday August 25 McPherson Auto Day and Saturday September 1 will now be the Reconciliation Day.
Tomorrow we have a three-person ambrose sponsored by Rushweld and Sunday we have the mixed foursomes championships sponsored by Craig Mears with an early start 11.30am to noon to allow 36 holes.
There will also be a single stableford for those not in the championships.
