On July 16 in 1914 St John's officially opened.
The current students wore clothes of the era to commemorate the day.
The children played marbles, knuckles and skipping along with a range of games that would have been played 100 years ago.
They also researched what was worn and what classrooms were like back when the school first opened.
The celebrations are in line with the 100 years of Catholic Education in Trangie Ball and Sunday activities which will take place on the October long weekend.
Anyone wishing to attend isencouraged to contact the school on 02 6888 7550.
