Early shooters had to contend with a south-west breeze which kept the scores down.
At the end of the first stage Brett McCauley led the target rifle group with a score of 49/50, while Clive Simpson and Alan Taylor held the lead in F-class with hits of 57/60 apiece.
The breeze settled during the second stage and at the end of the day Norm Brown won the A-grade Cock O'the Walk badge after scoring the only "possible" for the day and finished with a 97/100.
Alan Taylor won the F-class badge with a total of 115/120 and also won the weekly handicap trophy.
The white spot had some close shaves but survived to jackpot for another week.
Individual scores were:
Scott Monaghan 48/47, off-rifle 95, handicap 5, total 100/100; Rob Rainbow 56/57, F-class total 11/120; Dave Forster 55/58, F-class total 113/120; Clive Simpson 57/52, F-class total 109/120; Norm Brown 47/50, o/r 97, hcp 2, total 99/100; Brett McCauley 49/49, visitor total 98/100; Alan Taylor 57/58, F-class total 115/120; Val Jackson 49/57, F-class total 106/120.
