"Students watched videos on bike safety and fitting helmets property, followed by a discussion," relieving assistant principal, Alissa Miller said.
The students were then tested on their riding skills and they rode through a course designed to test their ability to manoeuvre their bikes, braking and looking for obstacles and indicating direction.
"All students listened carefully and were awarded their bike licence. Well done," Miss Miller said.
To follow up their week of bike safety, the primary school will hear from Community Liaison Officer Martin Pace.
"It has been confirmed he will be attending our school during Education Week to speak with our students," she said.
At the same time Mr Pace will discuss cyber bulling and driving safety with senior students.
