Following tradition the club will hold its annual 'Pink Day' with the players wearing special pink McGrath Foundation jerseys to show supportand bring awareness to our community of this amazing organisation.
Adding to the pink jerseys the players will wear pink McGrath Foundation socks which support the foundation's new sporting - 'pull on your socks' campaign.
It will be a big day at the Alan Burns Oval with a charity touch football game commencing at 1.30pm and then the main game between the Magpies and the Bears kicking off at 2.30pm.
The ground will be a sea of pink and all supporters are encouraged to wear pink on the day. There will be prizes for the best-dressed pink supporters.
The kids will also be entertained with face painting and their will be lots of pink goodies for sale including fairy floss, cupcakes and McGrath Foundation merchandise.
After the game all players, supporters and community members are welcome to attend an auction of memorabilia and items which have been donated to the club along with some of the pink jerseys worn by the players.
Proceeds raised on the day will be donated to the McGrath Foundation.
It is sure to be a great day out.
Make sure you get down to watch the boys and raise some money on August 2.
