With some 85 bowlers on the green it was surely a sight to behold.
This day is held annually for the winners of the district events. Mid West President Joyce Everett welcomed all to the Club and presented Annette Mc Millan from Dubbo City with the winner's trophy as singles xhampion for 2014.
Congratulations Annette and all the best for the next round to be held at Mudgee next month.
Then it was all out on to the greens to have a most enjoyable game.
The Spider was won by Ros Gilhome and nearest to the coin by Margaret McManus.
At the completion of play a delicious lunch was served and the remainder of the district trophies presented.
The raffle was won by Lynelle Chalmers from Trangie and the beautiful flowers that were decorating thecClub, with a big thank you to Jan Buswell for arranging same, were won by Helen Woolfe, Felicity Clark and Maureen Coffee. The local competition run at the same time was won by Judy Bateman, Helen Woolfe and Mavis Leak. Next week is Commemoration Day and once again we need a small plate for afternoon tea. Girls rostered on for lunch duties next week are Jan Buswell and Brenda Carter.
