Loyalty Roberts kindly donated trophies for the par event, nearest pins and raffle.
A grade and trophy winner, seven strokes ahead of any other player, was a very talented Judy Barlow +6. Judy also won nearest the pin on the ninth.
B grade ball winner was another talent Betty Browning -1.
First optional ball winner Wendy Jeffery -2. Wendy also won nearest pin 17th, second opp ball Gail White -2, third opp ball president Dale Harding -3, fourth and final opp ball went to Michelle Ashdown -4 winning on a count back from Bev Woods -4.
Bev was compensated by winning the raffle which partly contained a very attractive washing up brush which she will allow her Precious to borrow any time he wishes.
Drawn card won by our very capable treasurer Jeanette O'Brien.
The first round of Bootle-Browning 4BBB was attended by 25 players, one player had to play with two partners.
Winners first round Bootle-Browning 4BBB, Marj Kelly and Betty Green with a splendid 44 points. Runner-up and first opp ball Carol Paddison and Maida O'Mally 43pts, second opp ball won by Vicki Gainsford and Elaine Ashdown 41pts, third opp ball went to Dale Harding and Nikki McCutcheon 40pts, fifth opp ball won by Judy Barlow and Jeanette O'Brien 38pts. (Judy hits a long, straight ball like a beautiful concerto) winning on a count back from Joan Collins and Wendy Jeffery, Tracy McIntyre and Maida O'Mally all 38pts.
Heather Bootle kindly donated nearest the pin trophies and raffle.
Nearest the pin on the ninth Carol Paddison, 17th Betty Browning. Elaine Ashdown won the raffle. Carole King and Betty Browning won drawn card.

Wednesday July, 30 final round of Bootle-Browning 4BBB, an ALL DAY don't forget your dish for lunch.
Entries for the championships are being accepted, which begin Saturday August 2, Wednesday August 6, Saturday August 9 and Wednesday August 13, (final day) ALL DAY.
There will be another golf clinic given by Sharon Nott on Sunday August 24, from 9.30am to 1pm. A sandwich luncheon will be held and if you wish you can try your new skills, playing a few holes of golf after lunch.
The cost will be $10.
