With the parents coming in on Monday, the students showed their parents around the classrooms and held an assembly.
The school was open to preschoolers and pre-primary school children on Tuesday, as the younger children came in to see what primary school is like.
Primary School principal Denise King said Education Week was a great opportunity to share with the communities the quality of programs offered to the students to learn, grow and reach their personal goals.
"This year public education is celebrating the 60th anniversary of Education Week. 2014 also marks the 125th year of school sport," she said. "Our schools, our students, our teachers and our communities belong to an education system that has a tradition of excellence and inclusion."
On Tuesday the pre-primary school children were treated to some fun experiences, such as reading big books, creating collages and outdoor activities.
"The year 4s participate in the acitivities with them so when the children come to the school they have some familiar faces," Mrs King said.
The kindergarten students were part of the fun as well.
"After recess we'll have a disco," Mrs King said.
