A top field of 17 golfers lined up for last week's Geriatric nine-hole golf competition on Royal Narromine.
The weather was great and the course in top condition even though the repairs to the irrigation channel are not yet complete.
Scores were very good under the conditions so the captain decided to award joint winners on the day because of the large number players.

The joint winners were Vince Ferrari and Norm Lewis who both returned 24 points.
As both of these players were mentioned in the previous weeks competition, it is felt the handicapper will have a field day placing them on much reduced handicaps.
There is a strong rumour going round that one of the players mentioned raided his money box to offer the handicapper a certain amount of five cent pieces to retain his handicap.
Best of luck as the handicapper does not take bribes.
Third placing on the day went to Mal Richardson 23 points on a count back from Bob Richardson also on 23.
As can be seen the scores were close and the competition keen.
Nearest the pin winner was John Butcher who collected the jackpot.
The Pool competition after golf was once again popular and saw a convincing win to favourites Terry Burns and Terry Willis who defeated Bill Burke and Norm Lewis in the final.
Some decorum has been brought into the competition with "Rusty's Rules " being posted on the notice board.
This afternoon the gerries will play their competition on the back nine with a hit off at the usual time of 2.30 pm.
See you all on the tenth tee.
