Sixteen players took to the greens along with Des Lincoln who kindly filled in for one of the girls off sick.
Do hope he enjoyed the day with the ladies.
The skip winner was Rosalie Woods and the lead winner Betty Purvis. Congratulations to you both.
Next week sees the commencement of the 2014 triples championships.
The first game in round one is Ruth Bullock, Dawn Barry and Judy Bateman versus Barbara Lincoln, Carol Carnevale and Bev Shields.
The remainder of the draw is on the board and will play the following Tuesday.
Thursday next week we have a team of four going to Dubbo Railway for their gala day and the cards are on the board for Taber Shield which will be held in Orange on September 3, Veterans' Day at Dubbo City September 23 and Jess Knight Trophy in Mudgee October 14 and 15.
