DUBBO: Vicki Aland's Cutting Fire exhibition will open at the Fire Station Arts Centre, 116 Darling Street from 6pm. The exhibition shows the artists response to the Warrumbungles Fires.
DUBBO: Dubbo colleges annual year 12 creative arts night will be held from 6pm in the senior campus hall.

DUBBO: Vintage Truck and Tractor show will be held at the Dubbo Showground in Wingewarra Street from 8.30am to 6pm. Cost for entry is $10. The show will have trucks, tractors, steam tractor engines, cars and introducing a fantastic display of stationary engines.
DUBBO: Secret Bridesmaids Business will be shown at the Wesley Community Centre in Church Street from 7.30pm. Cost is $17. Please note: The production is M Rated (15+) and contains coarse language and sexual references.
DUBBO: The Dubbo Masonic Village Fair will be held at the Masonic Retirement Village in Darby Close from 8am to 1pm. Entry is free. There will be devonshire tea and BBQ, cake, trash 'n treasure, books, craft, pre-loved, plants and produce stalls, raffle tickets, jumping castle, face painting, musical entertainment and line dancing.
DUBBO: The Soweto Gospel Choir will perform at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre in Darling Street from 7.30pm.
DUBBO: Dubbo City Hockey Club will host their 60s theme night at the South Dubbo Tavern from 6.30pm.

NARROMINE: Mad Dog (Robert Carter) Fundraiser at the Narromine USMC. Head to the USMC for a poker tournament hosted by the NPL. Haf of the prizepool will be donated to Mad Dog’s family, first prize includes NPL Quarterly ticket (valued at $605) donated by NPL Central West. Registration at 1pm for a 2pm start, late entry at 4pm. Entry is $55.

NYNGAN: The Bogan Bulls take on Warren in Nyngan. It’s a big weekend for the Bulls with their 1994 Bogan Bulls Premiers reunion lunch. Nyngan v Warren home game and karaoke in The Bulls' Shed after the game. Head down to the park mid-afternoon.
DUBBO: Riverside Marks will be held at Ollie Robbins Oval in Bligh Street from 8.30am to 12.30pm.
DUBBO: Apex Oval will host the league this weekend with Dubbo Maquarie against Nyngan from 11.30am.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 13: Kate Miller-Heidke will perform at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre in Darling Street from 8pm. Cost for tickets is $60.50.
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 13: Women out West Gala Launch Cocktail Party will be held from 6pm to 8pm. The gala will celebrate the opening of nominations for the 2014 WOW Awards as well as announce sponsors, speakers and presenters for the WOW Conference and Expo and the Gala Presentation Dinner.
