Culhane returned a card of 23 points on the back nine which included birdies on the last two holes to win the competition from a disappointing field of only 10 players.
Even though Bob had a good round the competition was keen and he only won the event on a count back from Ross King also on 23points.
Culhane completed the double on the day with a win in the nearest the pin competition.
The pool competition was played after golf and this week went to Terry Willis and Bill Bourke who defeated Tiger Berryman and Bryce Crawford in the final.
Good to see Tiger back on the course.
This afternoon ,weather permitting, the Gerries will play their weekly competition on the front nine at the usual hit-off time of 2.30pm.
Veteran golfers are reminded the Coonamble Vets Open is on Sunday August 24.
See you on the first tee this afternoon.
