Police are investigating two separate vehicle fires reported on Monday and Tuesday.
On Monday night a Ford Festiva was destroyed by fire around 9.30pm in Gilmour Street, while a second vehicle was set alight in Church Lane (off Gilmour Street) around 5.45am on Tuesday.
Police said accelerants were used in both incidents.
The fires follow similar incidents late last week.
Overnight last Thursday three motor vehicle fires were reported.
The first occurred in Lambert Street, where a vehicle was partially damaged by fire.
Police said neighbours noticed something was amiss and alerted the owners at around 3.35am. The Fire Brigade was called and quickly extinguished the fire.
In the second incident a vehicle fire was reported in Kable Close, Kelso at around the same time.
The vehicle was destroyed.
In the third report, a Holden Barina which was parked at a location in Willow Drive, Kelso was destroyed.
Police said the fires appear to have been lit inside the vehicles after entry was gained by smashing a window.
They are now hoping members of the public may have seen someone acting suspiciously near the vehicles, and urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Bathurst Police Station.
All information is treated in the strictest confidence, and people can leave information anonymously if they prefer.
In other incidents, two vehicles, both parked in Brilliant Street, had their petrol caps forcibly opened and petrol was siphoned from the cars.
The thefts occurred sometime between Saturday and Tuesday.
A similar incident occurred in Morrisset Street during the same time frame, where a tipper truck was broken into and fuel and tools were stolen.
