During their wonderful season, our Under 13s lost only one match and that had been to Orange City by the slender two-points margin of 10-12.
In the major semi-final, our boys raced out to a 10-0 half-time lead, only to be pipped on the bell by a converted try.
Orange City again were the victors and by the same margin and score: Narromine 10-Orange City 12.
Orange City certainly played well; but so did our guys. In defence Harry Krueger, Sam Green and Angus Bodiam were awesome; in attack, Jordan Itoya carved them up in the kitchen, while Alex Heap made regular metres in the backs.
Semi-finals pressure did lead to some dropped ball; but overall, it was a wonderful team effort, with the boys showing great discipline throughout the game.
So Orange City progress to the grand final (at Narromine tomorrow week), while Narromine and Dubbo Blue have a 9.30am chat tomorrow at Forbes' Grinsted Oval to decide Orange City's opponent.
You Under 13s are having a fabulous season: may it continue. GO THE UNDER 13 JUNIOR GORILLAS!!!!
