Check out The Narromine News and Trangie Advocate's massive Show preview! We hope you're getting as excited as we are for the events this weekend.
The Show will take place at Narromine Show Ground:
We hope everyone can make it to the Narromine Show this weekend.
The show committee has done its best to bring you the most exciting and diverse range of entertainment we can muster. On behalf of the whole organising committee I sincerely hope you thoroughly enjoy your day at the show.
By the time this goes to print we will have found our 2014 Narromine Showgirl. I would like to congratulate all the young ladies who put themselves out there for the competition and I hope it was a rewarding experience for you all. Thank you must also go to the three young ladies who organised the show ball this year at the Aero Club.
A big thanks must also go to all the stewards and judges who are making this show happen. Without your donation of time and expertise this day would not be possible.
Last, but far from least, I must give a great deal of thanks to the working committee which meets regularly to ensure this day runs as smoothly as possible.
The secretary Jenny Ballhausen deserves a special mention as Jen does a huge job putting everything together to culminate in one awesome day for Narromine. Thank you very much.
Enjoy your day Narromine.

In anticipation for this weekend's Show, The Narromine News and Trangie Advocate has sat down with Showgirl Samantha Blease.
Samantha is very excited for her role in the upcoming Show.
"I went to the last Show meeting to find out my role this weekend. I'm excited," she said.
Samantha will be judging the Tiny Tots and Juvenile titles this weekend, in addition to sashing the animals and talking to people.
If you're looking for this year's Showgirl you're sure to find her at the Smash Up Derby on Saturday.
"My uncle goes in it each year. It's always fun decorating his car. It's starting to come together (for this year)," she said.
Another Show favourite of Samantha's is the Showbags.
"Showbags have always been a big thing. I love the Cadbury bags with all the freddo frogs," she said.
There are certainly stand out reasons why Samantha was chosen as Showgirl this year, she has had some fantastic experiences.
Samantha has returned from being a Jillaroo this year and is thrilled to be titled Miss Narromine Showgirl 2014.
"I worked on a Cattle Station at the bottom of the Cape," she said.
"This is my first year back."
Originally Samantha's friend and fellow Showgirl enterant Shannen Wood encouraged her to join.
"My sister was entering as well, so we went in it together," she said.
The Blease sisters took out Miss Narromine Showgirl and runner up Showgirl.
Samantha works at the Narromine Medical Centre while studying to be an enrolled nurse through TAFE.
She's hoping to work at the hospital when she completes her studies.
"I want to try it all out. (Nursing) is always something I've been interested in. I want to have a go a few different things," she said.
If you see Samantha at the Show make sure you say hello.
The yard dogs are back again in 2014, bigger and better than last year.
The competition is going to be strong with dogs coming from Armidale in the north to Goulburn in the south.
The quality will be high with the current Australian Kelpie champion coming and many other open yard dog winners coming to challenge the champ, along with many local dogs.
These dogs will be competing for a share of $2000 in cash and prizes which have been generously donated by local businesses.
Thanks to Ag n Vet Services, Nathan Wilson transport and Tony Walsh sheep scanning just to name a few.
The action will start at 7.30am and run throughout the day.
So come along anytime, find a seat and watch these dogs go about their work for an enjoyable day at the yard dog trials.
