Perhaps Clive Palmer had had enough frostiness for one day, after helping to put a freeze on superannuation rises for the rest of the decade.
The Palmer United Party leader was meant to appear on Channel Ten's The Project as his colleague Jacqui Lambie took the ice bucket challenge on the lawn of Parliament House on Tuesday night.
But moments before his cross, Mr Palmer became enraged, swearing and walking off set. On his way, he overturned a bucket of ice, which may have been reserved for himself. A producer for the show was splashed.

In the 24-hour period ending 7am today Dubbo consumed 15 megalitres of drinking water, which is 18 per cent of the plant's daily treatment capacity.
This is equivalent to a residential water consumption of 170 litres per person, Dubbo City Council advises.

A MAN who injected the illicit drug ice has been jailed for intimidating ambulance paramedics and assaulting a nursing manager at Dubbo Hospital.
Magistrate Andrew Eckhold said jail was appropriate for Elliott Wade Knight of Dubbo.
"An ambulance attended and you became aggressive. "You lashed out at the people trying to help you and had to be wrestled to the ground.

The 23-year-old was found collapsed in a gutter outside a Lovett Avenue house at 2.32pm on May 5.
Dubbo Local Court was told Knight was hyperventilating and appeared to be in pain and restless, but then committed the charges that led to his conviction.
"This is almost an exact repeat of previous offending," the magistrate said.
"You were intoxicated in a gutter.
"An ambulance attended and you became aggressive.
"You lashed out at the people trying to help you and had to be wrestled to the ground."
