Mayor Bill McAnally's comments come after the most recent spate of crime where the rubbish tip office was burnt down between Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
Police said entry had been gained to the Narromine garbage tip office where biscuits were stolen and the offenders rummaged through the staff room and set the office alight destroying all surveillance and computer equipment.
CCTV cameras set up on site were reportedly destroyed with police estimating the damage bill to be in the vicinity of $100,000.
Cr McAnally said the criminal activity was disgusting and he has had enough.
"We need to get rid of these people from our community. People wreck it," he said.
"It is disgusting this is going to cost ratepayers."
Cr McAnally said it's not a matter of if the police catch the criminals but when.
"The police are aware, they're trying to track down the culprits. They will be found," he said.
"My biggest worry is that they're going to burn down a house."
Cr McAnally said anyone with information needed to go to the police.
"People with information need to come forward," he said.
Narromine Shire General Manager Greg Lamont is worried the culprits are targeting isolated council properties.
The tip incident follows senseless theft and vandalism at the Narromine Racecourse and Showground.
"It's a horrible feeling and the community pays," he said
Mr Lamont said the garbage tip was a self-funding operation.
"Not any more, we're going to have to spend," he said. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or the Narromine Police Station with information.
