Bathurst Regional Council is once again holding its Window Display Competition, with two new prizes and a People’s Choice category that can be voted on via the council’s Facebook page.
Local businesses are encouraged to deck out their store windows with a Bathurst 1000 theme, and incorporate the three festive posters provided by Bathurst Regional Council.
Businesses that enter will go in the running to win a great range of prizes.
Bathurst mayor Gary Rush said the competition is a great way to be part of the racing season.
“I’m looking forward to seeing Bathurst decked out in the Supercheap Auto theme prior to the Great Race Festival,” he said.
All window displays must be completed by Friday, October 3 and any business wishing to be considered in the People’s Choice category needs to upload a photo of its display to Bathurst Regional Council’s Facebook page by that date.
The photo with the most likes by 9am on Thursday, October 9 will be awarded People’s Choice.
Prize winners will be announced via Bathurst Council’s Facebook page on October 9.
Displays must remain in place until Monday, October 13.
To be part of the fun, call Bathurst Regional Council event’s team on 6333 6120. Registration is free.
