Rodney Griffiths, 57, was last seen in Lightning Ridge in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Relatives notified officers from Castlereagh Local Area Command of Mr Griffiths’ disappearance that afternoon.
Police hold concerns for Mr Griffiths’ welfare, as he requires ongoing medication for a pre-existing medical condition.
He is described as being of large build, with very fair skin, short ginger hair and goatee beard.
