Narromine is one of four shires to receive this funding from the State Government.
Member for Dubbo Troy Grant has welcomed the funding allocation.
"I welcome this allocation of funds which will help us continue to provide the highest standard of protection to communities throughout the region in what is set to be a hot season ahead," he said.
"The NSW RFS is committed to ensuring all members have the equipment, resources and support they need to continue their important work.''
Narromine will see the construction of a new brigade station at Narromine Boogy Plains and a new truck at the Narromine Euromedah Brigade.
Parkes, Forbes and Dubbo will also see new stations and Parkes and Forbes will receive new trucks.
"These facilities will provide our volunteers with the latest technology and equipment and allow them to respond to any fire or emergency with confidence," Mr Grant said.
"Thankyou to our volunteers who each year help our communities in times of need.
"I urge everyone living in bushfire prone areas to download a free Bush Fire Survival Plan from www.rfs.nsw.gov.au and have a conversation with the family. There are only two pages to fill in and those two pages could save the lives of you and your loved ones."
