In the ladies' division there were 11 starters and Michelle Ashdown had an excellent round of 27 stableford points to easily win this division.
Second place went to Bev Woods 20 points on a countback from Elaine Ashdown.
The ladies' nearest to the pin was won by Jan Brennan. I am sure the handicapper will deal strongly with Michelle following her great round.
In the men's division, there was a similar situation to last week as Mal McIntyre was winning until the last group appeared only to be defeated by none other than Norm Lewis with 24.
McIntyre had 23 points beating Bob Culhane on a countback for second also with 23 points.
Malcolm Fraser won nearest the pin and collected the jackpot of five golf balls.
There were 10 men in Saturday's competition.
It is rumoured the handicapper will bring "Lewie" back to size after this round.
Due to lack of players Rusty and Terry had a social game of pool to complete the morning's activities.
Next Saturday the competition will hit off at 9am with the ladies on the front nine and the men on the back.
That's it for another week,
See you all on the tee.
