Moran is continuing to help out cricket in his home town this season and was at his brutal best against Dubbo, belting 15 sixes and 15 fours in his innings at Cale Oval.
He played out the innings perfectly, dominating the strike when combining with number 11 Dave Robertson for an 83-run partnership where Robertson didn't score one run.
But incredibly it wasn't enough as Narromine were all out for 251 and Dubbo reached the target for the loss of seven wickets with nine overs remaining.
"It didn't matter where we bowled, it was going over the fence," Dubbo captain Mitch Bower said of Moran's innings.
"We couldn't really do a heap and it's not easy when he's seeing them like balloons but we did have our chances, we dropped him and dropped a couple of chances and he really made us pay."
After winning the toss and batting Narromine faced plenty of early pressure with Mat Skinner and Blake Watmore proving very difficult to handle.
Watmore eventually made the breakthrough via an lbw and that dismissal brought Moran to the wicket.
He began patiently and at the first drinks break Dubbo were well on top at 1-44 after 17 overs.
Dubbo struck after drinks and then Narromine captain Kale Bock was unfortunately run out when a Moran straight drive deflected off the bowler's hand and into the stumps, catching him out of his crease.
Bronson Baker joined Moran and as the Western Zone representative lifted the run rate Baker joined in too, hitting two sixes and three fours in his cameo knock of 29 before being dismissed by the hard-working Stuart Naden. Moran brought up his century with a boundary and then he continued to plunder the attack, finding the picket fence around the picturesque Cale Oval at will.
He was particularly brutal inside as the end of the innings approached, with 64 runs coming inside the last seven overs before being was eventually caught at long off from the bowling of Watmore.
After taking five wickets for club side CYMS on Saturday, Naden was the pick of the bowlers again as he finished with 4/71 while Watmore also impressed, taking 2/18 from 6.3.
In reply Dubbo began well with Bower riding his luck on his way to 40 before being caught in the covers but Dan Holland continued on, manipulating the field well and punishing anything loose.
Holland looked set to go on and make a big score but he was out shortly after passing 50.
Despite that wicket Dubbo continued to score quickly with both Naden (31) and Skinner (37) contributing before Justin Knudsen came to the crease and made a powerful 31 not out to get Dubbo home.
"Two-hundred-and-fifty was always gettable with our batting line-up and the quick outfield and small ground and everyone at the top batted well," Bower said.
"The main focus of this side is to get some young guys involved and blood some potential first graders and representative players so it was a good start."
