The pool will now remind patrons to be sun smart and if you've forgotten your sunscreen you can get it from the kiosk.
The Narromine Shire Council and Cancer Council are teaming up to decrease the incidence of melanoma and skin cancer in the shire.
A short, catchy jingle will be played throughout the day over speakers to remind people to protect themselves with hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, clothing and finding shade.
Narromine and Trangie are two pools out of of almost 100 involved in the program.
Narromine Aquatic Manager, Val Bollard, said it's an awesome program.
"People forget sunblock, (the jingle is) a nice reminder for them," he said.
Community programs co-ordinator, Camilla Barlow presented the jingle, a sign and free sunblock to the pools on Wednesday.
Miss Barlow has praised the pools for supporting the campaign.
"Two in three Australians will develop skin cancer in their lifetime and sun exposure during youth is a major contributor as research shows young people often forget to protect their skin from the sun," she said.
"Trangie Memorial Baths and Narromine Swimming Pool have taken a great step by encouraging young people to be sun smart and we look forward to seeing more pools across the region come on board."
Miss Barlow said it's important to remember the five sun smart measures and to never rely on one form of protection.
Slip on some protective clothing, slop on at least SPF 30+ 20 minutes before you head out and take a bottle or tube with you so you can re-apply, slap on a wide-brimmed hat, seek shade and slide on some sunglasses.
Mr Bollard agreed it was important to be sun safe.
