A certificate of appreciation was presented to Butch (David) Dennis in recognition of the countless hours he voluntarily dedicates to the care of the lawns at the CWA rooms.
In accepting his award Butch cited a CWA scholarship awarded to his younger brother many years ago as a motivating force behind his decision to volunteer his services to the maintenance of the association's property in Trangie.
The next branch meeting will be held on February 12, 2015.
Members are reminded that the Land Cookery judging will take place at the Far Western Group Council Meeting to be held in Trangie on March 10.
This competition is not restricted to CWA members and entries from the wider community are most welcome.
