Steven Roberts has moved back with his young family and his business Taurus Trainer.
Steve, his wife Katharine and six-month-old Albert moved to Narromine from Brisbane in Queensland.
He is a qualified exercise physiologist and certified strength and conditioning specialist who has owned his own training business since 2008.
"We were looking for a tree change. We want to raise a family in the country," Steve said.
"I lived here from 1987 to 1993. Dad was a vet and mum was a hairdresser. I've stayed friends with people.
"I've lived away from the country, overseas and in another state but I've come back to put my roots down."
Steve has given himself the mission to get the "Narromine Shire fit". Starting with a seven-week body weights program starting at the end of the month.
"I'm running a seven week body weight program," he said,
"The gymless program achieves real results through correct nutrition and physical conditioning."
Steve's mantra with his business is the same as his mantra for his clients.
"You only get out what you put in," he said.
The passionate trainer isn't limiting people unable to come to his sessions though with the ambition to provide an online course.
"I'm looking at an online program in the mid-year to help people who can't get it face to face," Steve said.
At the moment Steve is working with a mums group in the mornings and training some dads in the afternoon.
His wife Katharine is one of his clients in the mum group.
She is please with how it helps her health.
"It's good to be a role model for my children," she said. It's one of Steve's favourite parts of his job.
"(I like) seeing people as fit as they can be," he said.
Katharine is pleased to have relocated in Narromine.
"It's great being back in the country, the space, fresh air and to be apart of a country community. You can get a bit lost in the city," she said.
"We're looking forward to raising Albert and more."
