Australia Day Celebrations - Council would like to congratulate the 2015 Australia Day Award recipients in Narromine and Trangie.
Narromine's Citizen of the Year is Mr Robert Davis, Young Citizen of the Year is Mollie Anning, the Community Event of the Year is "The Voice of the Outback", the Senior Sports Award went to Mrs Maida O'Mally, and the Junior Sports Award went to Tasma O'Brien.
Trangie's Citizen of the Year is Mrs Janet Mackinnon, Young Citizen of the Year is Daniel Flannery.
Special Achievement Awards were presented to Mr Keith Sanders and Mr. Alan Hilder, the Community Event of the Year is St John's Parish Centenary Celebrations, Junior Sports Award went to Olivia Hilder and the Children Champions Award went to Andreas Gordon.

Proposed Special Rate Variation - Narromine Shire Council continues to invite the community to make written submissions on a Proposed Special Rate Variation.
Information about the proposal is available on Council's website at www.narromine.nsw.gov.au.

Expression of Interest - Removal of Trangie Pool House - Council is calling for expressions of interest to purchase and remove the Trangie pool house, located at 49-51 Harris Street Trangie.
The purchaser will be obliged to arrange for the removal of all of the Asbestos from the building prior to transport, this must be achieved with the consultation of WorkCover and a final Hygienist report issued to council.
The site must be remediated back to a bare site at the purchaser's cost by the capping or termination of all electrical and plumbing connections and the removal of any building waste materials.
All expressions of interest should be marked "Confidential Trangie Pool House Removal" and may be lodged in Council's Tender box at 124 Dandaloo Street, Narromine or sent by mail to PO Box 115, Narromine, NSW 2821.
