The 28-year-old shared a picture of Gone Girl villainess Amy Dunne with his 2.7 million followers on Sunday. The image was accompanied by the caption: "This is my sister kim , the bitch from Gone Girl, [sic]."

After posting the image of the character, played by Oscar nominee Rosamund Pike, Rob unfollowed and then refollowed his entire family on Instagram, TMZ reports.

 

The reality television star also deleted all of his other Instagram posts, making the Gone Girl picture the only image left on his account.

Rob Kardashian has slowly moved out of the spotlight over the past year. He did not attend Kim's wedding to rapper Kanye West in May, and was only photographed around Los Angeles twice between July and December.

Gossip magazines have widely speculated his disappearances is due to weight gain.

On February 10, Rob used Instagram to comment on his weight, posting a picture of his younger self with the caption: "Last throwback of the day and yes I'm fat now so yall haters can literally suck d*ck. [sic]"

His older sister, Khloe, hinted Rob was having a hard time in an Instagram post on his birthday last Tuesday.

"I know this is the year where you will find your happiness again!" the 30-year-old wrote.

"I will be right by your side, holding your hand, every step of the way!"

 

Khloe later clarified her comments, saying her brother had developed "a kind of social anxiety".

"I just feel, especially over the last year, Rob has become very introverted and has a kind of social anxiety," she told Wonderwall on Saturday.

"He's definitely not at his happiest place that he once was, and I know he can get to that happy place and he will."

Rob is the fourth oldest of the six Kardashian children. He has appeared alongside older sisters Kourtney, Kim and Khloe, and younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner on the family's reality television show Keeping Up With the Kardashians since it began in 2007.
