Last Saturday April 18 a wet afternoon brought some players into the club house prior to finishing their 18 holes and their scores were disallowed. Due to the new ruling the players who finish 16 holes in Stableford and Par events only (not Stroke events) and have completed 16 holes their cards will be accepted in these competitions.

Saturday's Par event needed to be amended and the rightful winner of this event. B grade and Sue McCutcheon's Trophy was Wendy Jeffery +4. A grade ball won by Dale Harding +1, Robyn Jones won 1st opp ball +3, 2nd opp ball went to Min Burge (Wellington) -1. Nearest pin 9th Gail White, 17th Wendy Jeffery. Drawn card won by Maida O'Mally. Wednesday April 22 saw only nine players contest a Stroke event with Gail White's Trophy plus two played nine holes (11 players).
All the other "whosses" who stayed away because of cold wet and heavy conditions can hang their head in shame.
