At the recent Narromine Lions Club Changeover Dinner held at the Gliding Club, Zone Chairman Charlie Burrows inducted the 2015/16 executive.
The incoming officers for the coming year are President Vivienne Halbisch, Secretary Neil Clarke and Treasurer Jane Edwards.
President for the 2014/15 year, Bob Davis announced the donations for the year to be presented at the changeover dinner:
o Timbrebongie House (contribution towards equipment) $2000
o Lions Cord Blood Appeal $500
o Narromine Cancer Support Group $1000
o Narromine Day Care Bus appeal $1000
o Lions Eye Health Appeal $300
o Lions Drug Awareness $300
o Lions Childhood Cancer Appeal $400
o Narromine Lions Preschool $500
o Lions Clubs International Foundation $1000
TOTAL $7000
Jodie Wason of the Narromine Health Services and Les Lambert representing Narromine Day Care as well as Judy Barlow from the Narromine Cancer Support Group were on hand to receive their donations.
Both Ms Wason and Mrs Barlow gave talks on the services available from both groups.
Secretary Lion Neil Clarke mentioned that the public should also be made aware of the donations throughout the year in addition to those at the changeover dinner:
