The Trangie Tigers' season came to a shattering halt last Saturday at Alan Burns Oval when they were beaten by the Dubbo Rhinos 25-13 in the final. After finishing the season as minor premiers the Tigers were disappointed they were unable to make the grand final.

The Rhinos started well and scored their first try after only five minutes of play. The Tigers did lift and were camped in the Rhinos quarter for a lengthy period of time but were unable to breach their solid defence.
The Rhinos extended their lead with another converted try to have a commanding 18-3 lead at half-time.
Although the Tigers never stopped trying they had difficulty in stopping the Rhinos backline for making good ground every time in possession.
A late try by hard-working flanker Tom Green just on full-time gave the score line a bit more respectability for the Tigers.
It was a disappointing end to what was overall a successful year for the Tigers.
The club would like to thank all the players, supporters and sponsors for an enjoyable season.
