Narromine man, Paul Chapman will be jumping a bus over more than a dozen lawn mowers, or attempting to at least. The almost 40 year old said it's something he's been wanting to attempt for years.
"I've had the idea over the last couple of years, I thought the show needed something a little different," he said.
"I thought about jumping the bus over motorbikes. It's been done a few times. I talked with Eddo (Lindsay Edmunds) about it, we thought about motorbikes, barbecues and cars but we ended up with lawn mowers."
The father of three has attributed his attempt to his looming birthday.
"I'm turning 40 in September, so I guess this is kind of my mid-life crisis,"

"I'm turning 40 in September, so I guess this is kind of my mid-life crisis," he smiled.
This daredevil act has one opportunity only, there's no way for Mr Chapman to attempt the jump.
"I can't practise it, there's just one attempt, I guess it's one for the record books," he said.
The jump is taking place after the well-attended smash-up derby so Mr Chapman is hoping for a big crowd.
"People are pretty excited. We have 15 lawn mowers already and friends who have promised us some more," he said.
"We line up as many mowers as we can get and whatever the back of the bus clears is the number."
Mr Chapman and Mr Edmunds have been eagerly preparing the bus for the jump.
"We've been putting in huge days and nights, we've fitted the roll cage and put sponsors names on," Mr Chapman said.
"Eddo is a mechanic so he's fine tuning, and we've moved the fuel tank system, a young electrician has helped us with that."
Mr Chapman said he's not nervous yet but suspects he will be when hits the ramp with the bus, nevertheless he will be wearing safety attire.
His children are very excited to see their dad make the jump.
"I have three very excited kids at home. My youngest, Max, is four years old and he is very excited," Mr Chapman said.
"I hope I'm not a major headline on Monday," he joked.
