Narromine had three times the rate of sexual assault, steal from a motor vehicle and steal from a dwelling.
BOCSAR reported twice the rate of domestic violence assault, assault non domestic violence related, robbery with a weapon other than a firearm, motor vehicle theft and malicious damage to property.
Compared to the same period last year, June 2013 to June 2014, these crimes are increasing: domestic violence assault (59 incidents compared to 55), break and enter into a dwelling (65 incidences compared to 64), motor vehicle theft (34 incidents compared to 24) steal from a motor vehicle (116 incidents compared to 84), steal from a dwelling (57 incidences compared to 46), steal from a person (7 incidences compare to 3) and fraud (31 compared to 17).
Non domestic violence related assault, sexual assault, indecent assault, robbery without a weapon, steal from retail and malicious damage to property are all down on the same period as last year.
The Far West and Orana regions have triple the domestic violence related assaults and twice the non-domestic violence related assaults than the state average.
The region also records twice the rate of sexual assaults and indecent assault over the past 12 months, almost three times the rate of break and enter dwelling and four times the rate of break and enter non-dwelling.
Dubbo City recorded more than double the rate of offences in murder, assault domestic violence related, sexual assault, indecent assault, break and enter dwelling, motor vehicle theft, break and enter non-dwelling, steal from a motor vehicle, and malicious damage to property.
Member for Dubbo, Deputy Premier and minister for police and justice, Troy Grant, announced yesterday in the 24 months to June 2015 none of the 17 major offence categories showed a significant upward trend while six offences were trending down around the state.
Robbery without a weapon is down by 13.8 per cent, robbery with a firearm is down by 13.8 per cent, robbery with a weapon not a firearm is down 19.4 per cent, break and enter dwelling is down 5.8 per cent, steal from a person is down 9.8 per cent and malicious damage to property is down 8.7 per cent.
"These results are a testament to the dedicated and proactive work of police officers in communities across NSW to prevent crime," he said.
Illegal drug possession arrests have recorded an upward trend including a 38 per cent increase in amphetamine possession and a 47 per cent increase in cocaine possession.
