Nehe Milner-Skudder

The All Blacks boast an array of the world's best rugby talent, but their fullback Milner-Skudder may be their best. The twinkle-toed speedster would make a fine running back in the American code.

Bryan Habana

South African winger Bryan Habana has often been regarded as the fastest man in rugby. And while he's getting on now, at 32 he still is a feature of the Springboks side. A cheap recruit for an NFL outfit perhaps?

Israel Folau

Say it ain't so. Izzy Folau is the dream recruit for any NFL team, and as a seasoned code-hopper, it's not too far-fetched that Bechta may try luring him to the big leagues of the NFL. But for Australian rugby fans everywhere, Izzy, please don't.

Leigh Halfpenny

Wales suffered a huge loss with the injury to their fullback and sharpshooter Leigh Halfpenny. As anyone who watched the British and Irish Lions tour of Australia in 2013, Halfpenny doesn't miss often with his kicks, and would be a huge asset as a kicker for any NFL side.

George North

George North, the giant Welsh winger who literally carried Israel Folau (when North had the ball) during the British and Irish Lions tour in 2013, definitely fits the mould of a NFL star. At 23, he has plenty of time to learn the new code too.

Nemani Nadolo

How do you stop a 130kg, 195cm winger who is lightning quick, super powerful and can catch a high ball in the air? Bechta wouldn't be too wrong in seeing a potential superstar here.

Julian Savea

You won't hear any Wallabies fans bemoaning Bechta talking Savea into an NFL switch. The All Blacks winger's speed and skill has made him a nightmare for opposing teams.

Carlin Isles

Ever asked yourself, "what would happen if an Olympic sprinter played rugby?" Well the USA's Carlin Isles is the answer. The speedster remains a fan favourite, but could he mix it in his country's preferred football code? We don't see why not.

Takudzwa Ngwenya

The US Eagles have no shortage of speed on their wings and Takudzwa Ngwenya is definitely not the exception. The Zimbabwe-born flyer made his mark in 2007, making Springbok Bryan Habana look like an amateur by scoring a thrilling try. Those memories may inspire Bechta to have a chat with Ngwenya.

Sonny Bill Williams

I mean, what can't he do? He's won a World Cup with the All Blacks, NRL Premierships with the Bulldogs and the Roosters and has had five professional boxing bouts. Is the NFL too far a stretch for him? We doubt it.
