Thirteen ladies arrived for a stableford competition played on the front nine.
Winner on the day was Jean Richardson on 24 points from Joy Whiteman 23 while Vicky Gainsford won the nearest the pin.
Congratulations to these ladies on their efforts.
Fourteen men turned up for the 4BBB competition which was played on the back nine.
The winners were Vince Ferrari and Bob Richardson with 30 points. Runners-up were John Butcher and Peter Haesler on 29.
There was no winner for the men's nearest to the pin.
This week there were sufficient players for the pool competition however it must be said they were a bit rusty following a few weeks of no play.
The opening match saw Rusty and Mal convincingly defeat Pom and Robert (the Ford Man).
It was heard said that Mal scored his first win over the Pom.
The final was between Mal Richardson and Rusty McKenzie against Terry Willis and Norm Lewis.
At some stage it was thought the match would end at closing time however a final bust by Terry saw victory go to Willis and Lewis.
Next Saturday the competition will be a stableford for both men and women, the men on the front and the ladies on the back nines respectively.
Hit-off is at the usual time of 9am.
See you all on the tee.
