President of the Junior Jets, Justyn Gainsford was very impressed with the roll up and couldn't speak highly enough of the time given by the Australian Rugby League
Sea Eagle's first grade players Darcy Lussick, Josh Starling and Hugh Pratt put the junior Jets through a number of drills on Sunday afternoon at Noel Powell Oval.
Player Darcy Lussick said it was great to come to Western NSW and spread a healthy message.
"We don't get to do this too often and it's great because the kids get a bit out of it. We're getting message of healthy living and well-being out there," he said.
Lussick and junior player Harry O'Toole visited Trangie Central School, Narromine Public School and St Augustine's yesterday practicing drills and spreading their healthy message.
The junior Jets have thanked everyone who made the day possible.
"Thanks to our canteen staff for putting on a barbecue," Mr Gainsford said.
According to Lussick the Manly Sea Eagles have just finished their pre-season training and are gearing up for the first game of the season in three weeks.
Round one will see the Sea Eagles take on the Bulldogs at Brookevale Oval on Friday, March 4 at 8.05pm.
Those who want to grow up like Lussick and the Sea Eagles are encouraged to sign up for their local team.
"Registration to play will once again be online, sign up to our Facebook page and follow the instructions. The Junior Jets are looking to fill all grades and encourage everyone to sign up early," Mr Gainsford said.
