The night recognised the efforts of the athletes, their commitment to regular participation in fitness and constantly striving to achieve their personal best.
Athletes receiving perpetual trophies included: Matilda Irvine who received both the Scotty Crowther Award, nominated by age managers and community members to recognise senior athletes going above and beyond the expectations of the club and Most Improved Senior Athlete Award given to the highest point scorer for U13 and above.
Zac Everett achieved Most Improved Junior Athlete Trophy and Kuber Thakur Coach's Award. Courtney Kennedy received the Fran Barnes Memorial Trophy for commitment and effort in junior age groups.
Athletes were also recognised for their participation in State Athletics with a big congratulations to Saxon Bell and Kuber Thakur with attendance at their first State carnival this year, Ella Hutchison with her second and Aiden Butcher with an amazing seven times at State.
The club is proud of all its athletes and also recognises the valuable input of the community in supporting the running of the club.
With the finish of the season the club will hold its AGM on Thursday May 26 at 6pm at the USMC. The club welcomes any new committee members.
