Between 6pm on Friday May 13 and 11.30am on Saturday May 14, a number of windows were smashed at the Narromine Public School.
Between 1.09pm and 1.13pm on Friday May 13 a white "Hertz" rental truck with covered number plates failed to pay for $90.02 worth of diesel at Inland Petroleum.
About 11.15am on Wednesday May 11, a vehicle stolen from Wellington on April 16, was located in the Three Mile Reserve, Narromine. The vehicle has been towed and forensically examined.
About 2pm on Tuesday May 10, a white Samsung mobile phone was handed to police.
The owner is urged to contact police.
A black ZTE mobile phone was located near the long jump pits at the intersection of Meringo Street and Meryula Street, Narromine. The mobile phone has been handed to police and the owner is urged to contact police.
About 12.55am on Saturday May 14, a 19-year-old Narromine man overtook a fully-marked police vehicle travelling at the speed limit on the Mitchell Highway, Dubbo about eight kilometres from Dubbo. Police attempted to stop the vehicle, being a blue-coloured Ford XR6 utility, without success. As such a pursuit was initiated, with the utility accelerating to a speed no less than 150 kilometres per hour. The pursuit was terminated as the vehicle entered the Dubbo township without slowing down.
The vehicle was located in Coral Crescent, Dubbo, with the man and the passenger located a short distance away on Brigalow Avenue, Dubbo. The man was arrested and conveyed to the Dubbo Police Station and subjected to a breath test, returning a reading of 0.086 grams of alcohol in 210 litres of breath. The man stated he had been drinking beer and vodka and raspberry at the Narromine Hotel prior to consuming more alcohol at a house in Narromine. He was issued a Court Attendance Notice for the offences of Police Pursuit - not stop - drive dangerously, drive recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous, not comply with P2 licence conditions - not display p plates, drive with mid range PCA and using offensive language.
About 4:15am on Tuesday 10th May 2016, police received reports of a vehicle on fire at the Wetlands. Police later spoke with the owner of the vehicle who confirmed the vehicle had been stolen between midnight and 4:15am.
About 4:00am on Monday 9th May 2016, a resident in Minore Street, Narromine was woken by a number of knocks on her bedroom window. The resident observed a person walking slowly back and forth in her front yard and has contacted a family member. Police attended and later spoke with the resident and a can seized for examination. Police spoke to a number of nearby residents, with a number reporting similar occurrences. Police are urging residents to contact 000 in an emergency.
About 8:30pm on Saturday 7th May 2016, a resident in Third Avenue, Narromine returned home. Shortly after, he has seen a torch shining through a side window. The resident has returned outside, sighting two people who fled shortly after, leaving behind a torch. The torch has been seized for forensic examination.
Between 8:30pm on Friday 6th May 2016 and 11:30am on Saturday 7th May 2016, unknown person/s have accessed a caravan and a shed in Merilba Street, Narromine, where a boat motor and a number of tools were stolen. The scene has been forensically examined.
Between 8:00am and 4:30pm on Thursday 5th May 2016, entry was gained to a house on the Eumungerie Road, Narromine. A television and an amount of cash was stolen. The scene has been forensically examined.
About 3:40am on Wednesday 4th May 2016, entry was gained to a business in Macquarie Drive, Narromine by smashing the glass front door. A Waeco fridge, self propelled lawn mower and a number of ice boxes stolen. The scene has been forensically examined and investigations are continuing.
At 2:50pm on Sunday 1st May 2016, a 22 year old Narromine man was stopped for riding a push bike without a helmet. Checks revealed he had an outstanding arrest warrant. He was arrested and conveyed to the Narromine Police Station, where the warrant was executed. He was bail refused to appear at Dubbo Local Court the following day.
About 1:30pm on Sunday 1st May 2016, a 34 year old Dulwich Hill man was stopped and spoken to by police in Narromine. Checks revealed he had failed to report to police on 11 occasions and had breached a curfew bail condition. The man was arrested and issued a Court Attendance Notice in relation to breaching his bail. He was refused bail and appeared at Dubbo Local Court the following day.
Between 6:30pm on Saturday 30th April 2016 and 6:30pm on Sunday 1st May 2016 a car battery was stolen from a vehicle parked in Jerry Smith Street, Narromine.
Between 9:00pm on Friday 29th April 2016 and 8:30am on Saturday 30th April 2016, entry was gained to a garage on Wingfield Road, Narromine. A Stihl chainsaw, petrol blower and drill were stolen. The scene has been forensically examined.
About 10:30am on Saturday 30th April 2016, a 19 year old provisional licence holder from Trangie was stopped for a random breath test on the Mitchell Highway. He returned a positive reading, was arrested and conveyed to the Dubbo Police Station for a breath analysis, where he returned a reading of 0.019 grams of alcohol. He was issued a Court Attendance Notice.
