Residents have had their motorised scooters robbed, their gophers kicked and flags stolen from their transport as they try to get from Timbrebonige House to the CBD.
Acting CEO Robyn Douglas is asking community members to keep their eyes peeled to stop this kind of disrespect to the town's elderly.
"Last Thursday a resident was going down the street and the kids were ramming push bikes into a gopher and they stole a flag," she said.
"They're just being a nuisance and it's only because one of our employees was driving past she was able to hunt down the kid and get the flag back."
" I'm stunned, there's no respect,"
- Robyn Douglas, Acting CEO, Timbrebongie House.
Ms Douglas is horrified by their behaviour.
"They're 10 and 11 year old kids who should be in school. I'm stunned, there's no respect," she said.
Timbrebongie House residents often travel down the main street to be a part of community activities.
"We have residents who go to the Men's Shed, go shopping and play cards," she said.
Ms Douglas said they shouldn't have their safety in jeopardy.
Timbrebongie House has also had a variety of attempted break-ins lately.
"We've had wire cut on the back fence, glass broken and people trying to break-in," she said.
"I'd like to see a community watch program around this."
