Winner after a titanic battle was Charlie Burrowes who returned a card of 24 stableford points. A great round considering the course was playing short following the recent rain.
Bob Culhane was the runner-up also on 24 points to be defeated on a count back. Burrowes also won the nearest the pin and collected three golf balls for this effort.
The pool competition was played and, due to the small number of players, only one match was played. Terry Willis and Bob Fletcher defeated Chris Harding and Norm Lewis very convincingly.
This afternoon the Gerries will play their usual competition this week on the back nine with a hit-off at 2.30pm.See you all on the tee.
